Main Stand?

From memory i think the last time i watched a match from the Main Stand was the FA Cup tie against Rotherham about 1980. My partners daughter wants to go to the Bradford match on good Friday and i reckon the best way to make sure she has a good view is from the stand.

Can you buy tickets in advance and if so do you get allocated a seat number or do you just find a spare seat on the day?

I don't like going in the Main Stand, the nearest touchline is very difficult to see. Personally I prefer the view from the North Stand.

It's not all ticket for home fans so you won't be able to buy a ticket in advance. You will therefore head for a seat early on the day that has'nt got "season ticketholder" or "life member" written on it. When a game is designated "all ticket" then yes you would buy a ticket in advance with the seat number written on it. These tickets are usually on sale about a week before the game so there is time yet if the Club think there will be more than 4000 home fans

(waits while somebody says it will be too full with 4000 home fans 8-) )

The view is good but you can't see the action at the near corner flags.

Thanks for all that. I much prefer the North Stand but she is only ten and i reckon she will get a better view from the Main Stand. I had planned to go on the Car Wash but that idea has got kicked in the knackers

Have a word with the club shop tomorrow and explain your problem.

I'd be suprised if they couldn't help you especially when you are bringing a youngster with you.

I have a taller than average 11 year old who strggles to see stood up anywhere in the ground on a busy match day, i would advise going early and getting seats in the main stand.

Mark mentioned this yesterday over the tannoy after the game. If I remember correctly, tickets will be available in advance for those with children for the Main Stand

not just those with children you can buy tickets from tommorow for the main stand but I think you have to sit in the seat you are given if it was me I would try and get ticket early so you might be able to chose your seat if they have not sold so many
