The 2nd half was a different story, one of the best i have ever seen, anyone who missed that must be absolutely gutted.

"Agree, I thought Morcambe were one of the best teams down the Prostar. They were organized, knew what they were doing, played good passing football, defended well and attacked well. The only thing they didn't do was take there chances. Fair play to them, they showed us up. "

Were we really that good?

Probably about the best 0 - 0 game i have seen and there were a few tired legs towards the end , understantable . The only critisism i would make is that we never tested their goalie , there were a couple of times on the edge of their penalty area when the Twissy of old would have pulled the trigger but he layed it off. I think he just needs to have a look on Youtube at some of those goals he scored before and get that left foot going again . Dave Artell must have played his best ever game in a Morecambe shirt 9/10 , i have slagged him in the past for too much hoofing but yesterday was superb with great tackling and neat passing . If we play like that every game then as everyone was chanting at the end of the game we're Unbeatable . ;)

Spot on Dave.

Twissy's comeback has been a highlight of the season for me but he needs to take a few risks now (and not worry about possibly smacking it 20 ft over the bar with a couple, no-one will blame him if the third one hits the back of the net).

And Arts gave an absolute masterclass in the art of defending on Saturday.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Absolutely. That's the philosophy Stewart Drummond uses. Most of his attempts from distance clear the ground, but occasionally, as we've seen recently, he'll nail a scorcher.

You've got to speculate to accumulate!
