Carlisle have appointed the former Director of Football at Altrincham as their new Head of Football Operations. His appointment has been made due to his extensive knowledge of the National League which his new club feel is imperative in their desire for a quick return to EFL2.
Accrington have financial problems and have got rid of their Academy. The clubs long term owner has relinquished his position but will guarantee £250,000 towards the clubs running costs for next season.
