Wealdstone won and Dagenham only managed a draw, so Wealdstone stay up.
Yorks striker scored as many goals on his own as all our top 6 put together, I know it's a different League but the goalposts are the same size, so something will have to change in that department

Maybe half a dozen or so teams that will justify opening the away end. Let's Hope FGR win the playoffs.
Carlisle
Hartlepool
Scunthorpe or Chester
Oldham
Rochdale
Halifax
York

Aye, other than those games it will be unlikely we will get to 3.000 as things are.
If NAPM kicks in then knock another 1,000 off.
A lot will depend on which are on a Tuesday

York finished 23 points ahead of Oldham so deserve to go up but we know it doesn't work like that.
Hope Oldham win so we can visit the new Kit Kat

Southend were 3.1 down and now 4.3 up in extra time.
We will be playing Rochdale

I do hope we can also be playing against Oldham next season, but this thought is rather a double-edged sword as it's always good to see old Lancashire clubs on the rise (erm...other than Barrow).

The Rochdale fans are having a real pop at their manager after last nights humiliation by Southend.

Watched both matches over the last couple of evenings, Oldham cruised it against Halifax and deserved to win , Rochdale on the other hand threw it away, but fair play to Southend they never gave up even at 3-1 down, just goes to show its not over if you believe you have something to fight for.
On Morecambe's form this season i would see us struggling against all of these teams in the top half of the National league. We might be in this position this time next year, hopefully fighting for a promotion spot back in to the football league but being honest I think we will struggle. We need to start the season well and get wins under our belt that was our problem last season, need to be consistent and at least have a run of wins.
At least we know we have Rochdale to play next season, With Oldham though it may be a long shot them going up as they face a strong York next. If they all stay in the National league that's three good away days

At least playing Southend should give us 4/6 easy points

. We've got a pretty good record against them unless I'm mistaken.

Prefer for Southend to get through. Saves the club money on travel and overnight accom. £3K...
Also if it is a Northern team who get through it could affect the away gate at the Maz...again money in our account being the reason.

Saving money is priority in my view.

Results against Southend prevented our visit back to non league a few times over the years

Not disputing either of the above comments but the situation has now changed and for me saving the cost of travel etc is most important.....BUT Southend could still be promoted so until the outcome is known it is just my own view that they are my preferred club to gain promotion.
