Three pointers!

Every game is a 'must win' for us now, in reality, if we are to claw our way into the play-offs.

And that should make for some exciting matches.

We'll take a point rather than nothing, of course, but we must be looking at games with a 'let's have a go', nothing to lose, mentality. We need to make up points on those ahead of us and we need to keep getting more points than those behind who have games in hand.

That should give our players a bit of licence to take a few risks and 'go at' teams, even away from home.

This may, of course, lead to us to lose games that we could have drawn had we been more cautious - but what the heck.

We're all realistic about our chances but it'll be interesting, whatever!

I totally agree

Attack! Attack! Attack!

just to add, we are now just one win away from definite safety, unless Grimsby manage to overhaul their goal difference and that would mean scoring about 3 unanswered goals a game!

I think the shrewsbury game next Saturday could be a good one with them in the last play off spot and us fighting to get that spot off them...really looking forward to the last 9 games of which 5 or 6 them could be big games for us and the opposition

Aye....get out there and 'Attack ...Attack...Attack'....but is it in Sammy's make up to be cavalier and just go for it?

We've all witnessed games when defending a 1-0 lead has cost us dear. With nothing to loose and everything to gain, now is the time for 'shit or bust'.

I'd rather see us going for it than sitting back and being content with out current position of safety.

It would certainly make the run in far more exciting.....and who knows, we might...just might get into a position of challenging for a play off place.

There is an uncanny similarity with our present situation to that of our last promotional campaign.

Could it be that something that seemed nothing more than a dream after the Accy shambles, could be within touching distance?

Let's go for it........

:P :P :P

We are now in our own mini league, with Shrewsbury,Bradford and the Daggers. All the teams above us have some very hard games to play against each other and points will be hard to come for them.Saturday is a big big game for us. As an outside bet Rotherham could be a dark horse, but may just run out of steam with so many games in hand to play.

Next 4 games are crucial, darlo, bradscum, grimsby and shrews I think. 3 are around where we are and 1 we should win. These next couple of games will truly test our form and will tell us where will probably finish. Lets hope we beat the Shrews

shrewsbury, darlington, exeter and bradford are now massive games for us that we need to get something from to have even an outside chance of the play offs

Surely you don't want us to get to the final Sam - you have a wedding to go to :!: :D

What a decision that would be

Talking of 3 pointers it must be a 6 pointer for Carlisle v Northampton tomorrow :o

The main aim now is to play out all our games in style. Remember last season when we had a shocking second half whch, IMHO, led to us having not too good a start to this season.

A good unbeaten streak towards the end of this season may transfer to a good start to next term - just a thought!
