Derek's Latest Interview

"We wouldn't even have the tenth-highest budget in the National League."

Honest, frustrated, and complimentary about the supporters.

“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

It's amazing that we've still got a bit of hope given the budget constraints and DA not being able to bring in any L2 standard players! The fact we've taken in loanees from other L2 clubs says it all. Not that long ago that we brought in loanees from Championship and L1 clubs, or even the very occasional premier league team. It's clear that DA didn't get all the money as promised from the Cup Run given who he had to let go and who he brought in during January!

The frustration comes across strongly. I really can't see Derek being with us next year whether we stay up or not. But then again I was amazed he came back to us last Summer.

Honest and I for one am still, even with my concerns of how our teams play under him, thankful he has not walked out on us again.

I agree I don’t think he will be with us next season, we will have to wait and see, our budget next year will not be great and if we go down it will drop considerably, like a stone.

So it imperative Derek gets something out of his players in these last dozen games that he has only managed to get sporadically so far. We need very good performances and most of all Derek has to find a way of us scoring goals.

If he keeps us up he will be a hero, whether he stays or goes. He made a promise and he gas stayed, has he had enough? already? Well I sincerely hope he hasn’t and that he’s up for a fight to keep his reputation as a good manager at this level in tact.

Let’s start tomorrow night let’s hope we put in a real performance, the use of subs, used well and we score more than AFC.
