A great piece on Morecambe’s plight by Daniel Storey, chief football writer on the i-paper. He hit most of the right buttons of what’s going on, so thanks.
I do have a criticism, it was so light weight on criticism on Whittingham, if a Club is being dragged down into the gutter by bad ownership why not go for them?
It was right about the fan base it has surprisingly held at a decent level and in the main we are very supportive of the team, we know the difficulties we are having and have not got on their backs to any great degree, I think we all know it’s Whittingham fault, full stop.

Excellent article. The problem with going too hard for Jason is that they could probably get sued.
The truth is a defence against libel but the defendant has to be able to prove it and we know how difficult that is in this case. I think the writer went as far as he could.
