Goalkeeper problem

Goalkeeper problem

Postby shrimp in cyprus » Sun Feb 23, 2025 10:55 am

It appears that we now have only one fit G/K. Both Moore and Schofield are injured. So no substitute G/K on the bench yesterday. How do we sort that going forward?

Emergency Goalkeeper signing ,any time of the season.

We've done before in the past.

Baz had an issue with long shots 10 years ago, don't think he'd fancy it now :)

It manages to be both possible and feasible AND a silly question, all at the same time! May as well but the Academy keeper on the bench just in case Bergoyne gets injured or sent off in a match. If that happens, I'd expect the Academy lad would still be better than an outfield player (unless we get Alex Kenyon back!   ) then the emergency keeper would come in, assuming we have the money to sign one.

So how did that work out then?
