Doncaster Sold Out

Doncaster have sold out their ticket allocation, does that mean there will be over 1000 of them or is it seating only?
Fair play to them

Seating only as it costs too much to open the away end if not over 1000 in it which there wouldn’t be but still a decent following for them midweek

How come the away end was open on Saturday then? Must have been about 300 in it plus a couple of hundred sitting

They probably just expected a bigger turn out for a local match on a Saturday to a 240 mile round trip on a Tuesday night.

Surely if a 1000 tickets have been sold the away end will be open.... :o :o :o

As for Accy's support last Saturday......pathetic for such a crucial match and in many ways a local derby.....

Our away support considering our home gates is excellent and beats me how so many of the younger fans can afford it.... ;)

Jeapers, does it really matter? The powers that be decide one way or the other guestimating the away fixture numbers and whether or not it is worthwhile paying for the extra stewarding, staffing, utilities and making the extra food for that area. Doncaster initially given I think 400 seating plus an extra 100 made available now. Doncaster’s average (including Saturdays) away attendance is 487 & before you ask Accrington’s is 211 BUT it was a local derby which is always difficult to gauge, our average is 277 which imo is excellent. Yes 277 because when we play Fleetwood, Accrington it is loads more but Bromley not so many. FYI Barrows away attendance is massive in comparison so well done them
Ps
‘We have been provided an allocation of 400 seated tickets for our trip to Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 (7.45pm). Our Priority Points sales system will be in operation for this fixture.26 Jan 2025’
AND
‘We can confirm that we have received an additional allocation of 100 tickets for our trip to Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two on February 18.

The initial allocation was sold out on the morning of February 17 but our hosts accepted a request for additional tickets.

Any tickets purchased from the additional allocation must be collected from the Mazuma Mobile Stadium on the evening of the game. 17 Feb 2025’

I think morecambe have a reciprocal arrangement with clubs that offer our fans the option to sit or stand. Donny is an all seater, so we probably only open the terrace if the club is likely to sell all 600 seats.
