I believe Hope has picked up a slight injury so not out for long.

Don't think Slew is injured - maybe just pushed out now we've got the new signings and Angol being back.

If Slew was to be brought back onto the bench, who would you leave off, i.e. Dallas, Angol, Dackers, Cooke, Edwards, Garner, Tollitt? Derek has suddenly got options!

We've suddenly become very strong up front, which is something Tollitt not even coming off the bench against Accrington tells you.

I'm sure Slew will be a sub when Derek thinks he can "do a job" against specific teams. It's the Derek way not to have the same formation/same bench for all games - he will rotate both the starting 11 and the subs bench when he has a "cunning plan" against different teams.

It wasent long ago that Derek did'nt make substituions till late on because he knew what was on the bench would'nt make much differance, now with this squad he can make whole sale changes,as per saturday, freshing things up when needed.

I like the way he appears to be using Dackers as a second 45 sub. It gives the opposition something new to have to think about with not that much time to work it out.

Now that he has a partner working alongside of him he looks a different player than what we have seen most of the season so far.
