Story of our season. Edwards with a great cross. Jones managed to head the ball straight up in the air rather than at the goal. Six yards out really needed to do better.

Callum Jones should of scored off that cross, routine header.

Dakkers doing my head in already.

Great shot from Edwards from about 30 yards, on target, required a good save, going out for a corner.

Commentary team reckoned Jones was 'suggesting' to Edwards that he should have passed. Bollocks to that, we need more shots from distance. Last Saturday two goals came from deflected shots, get one on target and anything can happen.

Jones put narrowly wide from a well worked free-kick.

Dackers, centre of the penalty area. Ball played (admittedly, too soft) towards him. He stood still, waiting for the ball to come to him, while the defender sprinted around him and took the ball away.

yeah, frustrated our first signing in this window wasn't a center forward.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other when we attack, benefit of the doubt is given to the defence.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other we get nothing, opposition get everything.

Williams literally had the waist band his shorts around his thighs where they'd been pulled down, but the attacker still gets the free-kick!

Not too bad in the first half. Jones had two excellent chances, but failed to hit the target with either. If we had someone who could score, we'd be doing okay this season.

I'm listening to a very biased Crewe commentary. The one thing that they are correct in saying is that Morecambe are a poor team. We did improve in the last 15 minutes but it's going to be an uphill battle in the second half. We must stop passing to the opposition, the number of times we give the ball away is just playing into Crewe's hands (or should I say feet). I'm just hoping that we can ride our luck and get a breakout and score. 1-0 to Morecambe. COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

doing alright, but so typical this season, if Mellon or Stockton etc was upfront with this team, we’d be 2 up at least and in the play-off positions, thats how tight L2 is.

Having a good spell now, but a couple of good chances missed. If we can keep this momentum going, we're in with a chance. Long stoppage in play due to injury to a Crewe player.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS. More attacking subs coming on for Crewe.

I disagree. Second from top v second from bottom, it is difficult to see which is which. Obviously, our season long issue in not having a goal scorer. If we did, we'd be ahead in this game.

Bollocks    They did well to stop the ball from going out of play, then Cooney did really well to pull the ball back.

We were having such a good spell and missed several chances. Then they go up and score. If we could only take our chances. Time for changes.

0-1 this is what happens when you don't have a finisher in-front of goal, despite playing well.

I think this team will be relegated, unless the club can find the funds to bring in a quality striker, The Team always plays well but nothing up front..and i know we have no money but they better find some or we will be in the national league next season playing in front of 2000 .

Can't argue with that. Another game where Dackers hasn't had a shot. I genuinely think there is a player in Dackers, just not as a lone striker.

100% and if we have a bad transfer window our BoD need to call administration.

Crewe keeper has gone down to kill the game. A minute or more on the ground. Surprise, surprise, no lasting damage.

Change the Law, if keeper needs attention from physio, the sub keeper has to come on for [say] two minutes while the keeper receives attention, then the original keeper comes back on. Doesn't count as a substitution unless the sub keeper remains on the pitch. I bet that would stop the cheating.

Derek Adams when interviewed needs to be asked if he's identified a Striker yet , as we've a back up goalkeeper on the bench and an attacking midfielder with no assists, seen more important when putting the ball away?

Why wait until we're losing before we really attack?
How many "Morecambe nil" in games this season?

Why didn't we sign Cooke a couple of months ago, when the additional funds were promised? He was a free-agent, so could be signed outside the transfer window. The only reason I can think is that we needed to release players in order to free up funds. In that case, do we actually have cash for a centre forward?

Otherwise, the only reason would be that Derek didn't feel we needed him until recently?
