But we buy Oil & Gas from other Country's who do, so what difference does it make, its still bad for the planet either way.
i detect a bit of virtue signalling here.

It's bad enough what damage we've already done, without opening up more areas of the planet.
We remain dependent upon fossil fuel, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be transitioning away from it as efficiently as possible.

More new hospitals built than any time since WW2.
NHS spending increased, per head of population, ahead of inflation.
More new schools built than any time since WW2.
Narrowing of the wealth gap (good thing).
National debt under control. From memory IRO 60% of GDP.
At the end of the 14 years of Tory mismanagement, do you see any improvements in anything? Super wealthy have got wealthier. More children living in poverty. Increased rough sleeping. National debt now close to 100% of GDP.
But, Liz Truss is threatening to sue if it is said that she "crashed the economy". Wasn't she there at the time? Borrow money to give to the super wealthy as a tax cut. Yeah, that makes sense.
I'm not a fan of Starmer, but for goodness sake, the state of the country after 14 years of investing in the rich has left it in a mess.
