Fans Forum OWS video

Postby redrobo » Sun Jan 05, 2025 2:33 pm

Thanks to the club for making available a video of the Fans Forum so that all those interested can have the opportunity to see and hear what was discussed during the evening.

My personal thanks to all members of the panel who answered each and every question as honestly as they were able.

Some may disagree with some of the answers but let's be thankful that we have a BoDs who are committed to the survival of OUR club in what are frustrating times especially regarding the ownership.

I did previously question the absence of DA but having listened to the topics discussed it would appear to me that a further Fans Forum where DA can answer questions totally relating to footballing matters should be made available before the end of this season.

Well done to all those who contributed either by asking the question or answering the same.

Excellent.

Can please someone post it where it can be found, last time it ended up on You-Tube. It’s always good to watch it back.

When the BOD’s where talking about Momi and Sarbjot and the business struggles between them (As in Momi disentangling himself from Sarbjot), has that been what the hold up has been about.

I’ve just been on Beyond radio website reading their report on the Fans Forum, there are two interviews taken after the meeting one with Rod and one with Tarnia Elsworth. They are worth a listen.

More paperwork gone into the EFL. We will see if it’s what the EFL require and if so we will see firstly how long that takes to scrutinise and then the decision.

Once that is done the transfer of ownership then has to take place between Jason and Momi and hopefully that will flow properly and goes through as soon as it can. But how long is a piece of string? It’s been unraveling for two and a half years so let’s hope it’s near the other end we all have been left holding.

I'm still not clear as to the connection between Jason and Bond Group Investments..... :?

Is Jason and the Bond Group one and the same? If so the statement issued by Kiljeet Singh Momi were it is proposed that 2 representatives of Bond Group are to become Directors of our club to represent his investment suggests to me (assuming that Jason and the Bond Group are one) that Jason will have potentially more involvement with our club than he has at the moment.

I thought the whole idea of the takeover was for him by choice to have no further involvement with our club BUT if the takeover by Momi ever materializes it could be that we will never see the back of Jason...

Somebody please, please tell me I've got Momi's statement in relation to the proposed involvement of the Bond Group all wrong...... :?: :?: :?:

They're all in the same pot with all the Companies involved, a spiders web that the EFL clearly can't untangle

If they are one and the same....then that is why Jason has no intention of seeking a sale to a totally independent purchaser.

Feel that we are well and truly stuffed......

Finally I’ve navigated my way on the website!! I’ve had to update my account so I can now listen to it back.

I can check if I herd the BOD’S right or not, I only had one of my hearing aids in so struggled with the sound system.

A lot of work might be needed in getting some things right in some parts of the Club, apparently it’s January 2024.

I’ve Just looked on OWS to finally watch the Fans Forum and it is saying “Fans’ Forum January 2024” posted 2 days ago.

Oooppps!!
