On the down side, a horrible Tuesday evening trip, and an awful day out for anyone who has been driving down today.

On the plus side, we may get allocated a decent ref for the rearranged game and have brought in some new players.

feel for our fans who have travelled down in this weather

but we might have more chance of wining the rearranged fixture, after the transfer window.

I hate these last minute decisions. The state of the prevailing conditions has been getting better, not worse.

Newport County seemed to think the conditions were accepatable for all concerned, they should accept responsibility, which I assume they were willing to do.

Was it on TV? I thought it was moved to Sunday because Newport played [on TV] on Thursday and there has to be three days between games?

I think that was the main reason but it was going to be on Sky this afternoon.

If it was just small areas of frozen ground then the club may well have thought they could fix it in time.
The ref was probably scared of grazing his knee
