I hope not on yesterday's display he should be playing upfront

I'm usually quite excited when the transfer windows approach but this one worries me. Has Derek got the money he was promised and who are we going to lose?

A very crucial week coming up!

Early form with us must have alerted a lot of other teams to his ability, it would be a loss if Adam goes, but if Edward’s stays fit it will soften the blow and any money we get hopefully is spent on strengthening the squad.
It’s Christmas I’ve not seen anyone to hear anything. What ever happens it’s the biggest month coming up, the Owners, the Buyers and the BOD’s have to see that and give Derek the funds he will need to bring in quality players that will hopefully go a long way to securing our EFL survival.

This will probably be the most important transfer window in the clubs history, a lot depending on who we bring in and whether we survive in the league.

Isn't Adam on a 12 month contract so if the rumours of him going are true then a fee for his services would be required but considering that all other clubs have pennies to spend this transfer window then that would not be a problem for them....

However it's only a rumour at the moment but would love to know where it has come from...

Not been getting game time for a bit, is that so he doesn’t get injured? If he goes we get a fee I hope it reflects his firm for us. He came on a free so if he goes it will probably be a smaller fee with add on’s. I would like a bigger fee so Derek gets the money.

One player out in Harrack, (up to now) is there more announcements tonight? any new arrivals today for tomorrow? Or have we to wait?

Hopefully on this issue Morecambe are on the ball with some of the work already done and arrivals this week.

I expect that Derek has done (and is still doing) all he can. Patience my friend

With Paul Lewis and Harvey Mcadam both injured plus Kayden Harrack been released I'm sure that Derek will have some replacements for sure

I know I'm probably been greedy and optimistic but we could do with new players in and ready for the Newport game but we will have to wait and see

Don't forget that some of the new players will not necessarily be match fit and may take a while to blend in.

Listening to Derek it sounds as if getting incoming players will be tricky. Perhaps, despite" having a budget"?, we will have to be content with players left after other wealthier teams have had their pick even if it's loanees. Don't expect high quality players!

In the Liverpool Echo it states Williams is ready to sign a loan contract extension till the end of the season at MorecambeFC. I’m happy with that, getting better with each game.

Williams confirmed staying with us until the end of the season.

Jeapers if it’s not someone jumping on Dackers back it’s this.
1. Dackers deserves more credit than he gets
And
2. Derek will sign whoever he signs. We WILL have new players, WE ARE MORECAMBE FC 2nd bottom of the EFL and facing relegation. Derek just means that players available at present are asking far too much or the clubs are for loan deals but as the month moves on (yes we need them now but he knows that) then fees lessen and might come in to our budget range. Being a football manager seems easy but it is from it especially at our level with our budget. Have some faith and try to be a little more positive please

I think we are saying more or less the same thing Nobby only you are stressing the 'more' and I'm stressing the 'less'.
