Late home, so only just on line. How are we doing (other than losing!)

Half time

0 1

Only piece of quality in the half sees the Imps lead

Some really nice, one touch football, but again, no shot on target.

Cross from Tollitt earlier, Slew & Hope were both too slow to react and both narrowly missed the ball for an easy tap in. Difference between a natural, instinctive goalscorer.

Good effort but unless we sign a striker we are only going one way I'm afraid

Hope worked hard but none of our strikers are getting double figures

Missed the first half-hour, but from what I saw, Williams was my MotM. Some decent play but no clear cut chances. We really need to create some more opportunities.

Best football I've seen from us for ages, quick passing and keeping possession. Right wing worked well in first half with Tollit and Millen working well together. Just fail when we get to the box and needless to say they run to the other end and score, Cadimatri a handful.
400 tickets sold, only 1 bar open upstairs and no hospitality, no more than 20 in there before the game even tho it was open to everyone that didn't have to pay £20 .

Glad to see some good things written on here as I think we've done really well in the cups with such a small squad some of whom are not really league two quality. Unfortunately these cup runs may take a toll on the squad in the important league matches coming up.

A good (ish) performance, played it around quite nicely, overall 15 shots, 1 on target!! Same old, same old. For me just not enough bite in midfield and we lose the ball through bad control, Tollitt again, then down our right hand side, a lofted cross and our defender beaten to the ball and goalie rooted on the line, eeerrrr.

Not so sure about Hope offside when the cross was headed back towards him he seemed onside, his anticipation to get to the ball ment he was 2-3 yards beyond their last man when he put it in the net and that made it look worse than what it was, harsh, no very harsh. The linesman took a bit to give it, the ref was not in a good position. I’ve watched it again and when the ball is coming over Hope is jogging into the middle unmarked, well on side and reacts to Taylor heading it back across goal.

We need to be much more combative in midfield and to work on ball control when a ball is played into you.
Then it’s recruiting a goal scorer or 3!!

I've always rated the commenters on SKY but the one last night was very poor.

Do you think that is beyond us?

I want us to stay in the league, is that too much?

Thought we played very well against a very combative Lincoln side.

Unfortunately our inability to put the ball in the net cost us dear...yet again....

Was pleased to see Brown come on BUT then he showed to me and a colleague how easy it is for a defender to out muscle him and to give the ball way far too cheaply.

His passing was poor but that could be down to the lack of game time.

I've been asking for DA to give him some game time but could it be that DA sees him day in and day out in training and he continues to be below DA's expectations and requirements.... :?: :?: :?:

I'd love for CB to be given another opportunity but I'm wondering if his time is up at the Maz and faces an unsure New Year. I seem to recall his period at Cheltenham was patchy so maybe it's an on going problem possibly with attitude.... :?: :?: :?:

I think we might have difficulty finding 1 good goal scorer let alone 3 but I didn't mean to be offensive and if I've upset you Billy I apologise.

Black Morse, I’m not offended at all, I welcome different opinions, you could be right about finding 1, especially with what our budget will be and everyone else looking for a good striker. It isn’t going to be easy that’s for sure.

Thought during the game that we took too many touches when in a shooting position. Having just watched brief highlights I thought I was correct.

It really is annoying that all too often in a shooting position we lack the confidence to have a go. It's as if they are scared of any criticism they may get from fans.

Well certainly not from this old git..... ;) ;) ;)
