Poor corner by Tollitt, who then also lost the ball cheaply. Grimsby broke very quickly, and a lovely throughball which caught in the wind perfectly, and dropped in front of their player, who finished well.

Sad to say, but we are not handing the conditions at all well. If we can’t control the ball with the wind, we’ll struggle against it. We could have done with this being called off!

It frustrates me. Conditions are the same for both sides, but it is our ground, we should understand the wind better. Their goal came from a lovely pass, that used the wind to hold it up.

...and as I type, their second goal was similar. We lose the ball cheaply, they break quickly, and another nice pass, held up in the wind.

Ref came on the Grimsby coach, which isn't helping. Great free-kick delivered, but Slew didn't get a proper touch. Their keeper dives in, and gets a free-kick. White got fouled. We've had two bookings for similar. He obviously questioned why it wasn't a booking, so he got booked instead!

Teams in the play-offs aren't the ones we need to be winning though, so still not too dispondent. Not a huge gap between the two teams, but we really lack someone up front. Dackers, 21 games played, zero goals, two assists tells the story.
