I'd rather our game was called off then have to witness the game played in farcical conditions due to the projected 70mph wind.

Also with structural damage forecast I'd hate for fans safety to be put in jeopardy.

3 games called off, all in the South West is hardly a lot of games. I'm up and about already, almost 0400 with hardly a breath of wind in the trees outside, so unless things change drastically I'll be on the bus to Preston @ 0700, then train to Lancaster.

If the playing conditions are a little on the damp and windy side, then c'est la vie. As for a possible cancellation and fan safety then we all have a choice, unless the game is cancelled by 0900ish then a lot of travelling fans around the country will have made their own mind up either way.

*EDIT* - It's 0540, sense has prevailed and reluctantly I've changed my mind. The wind has picked up, it's chucking it down, I'll be drenched before I even get on the bus to Preston....back to bed I reckon.

Assuming the match goes ahead I hope Derek reminds Burgoyne not to kick the ball sky high when facing the wind
