What a pathetic no 3000+, get more for a normal home match. Was it the price rise

Personally for me, I already had an obligation for 30 November, long before the date for the 2nd Round was announced. No doubt others did so too.

Well anybody who didn’t go missed a reasonable game and a win for Morecambe. I wonder who they are now hoping for in the next round and if they will be doing something else if it’s a big team at home. Probably they will be hoping it’s on TV!

I'm not sure, but I think it could be, for League games, all the season ticket holders are counted, whether physically there or not. For cup games, it is actual bodies through the turnstile, so actually, it wasn't a bad attendance, especially when considering, this was a League game only a few weeks ago.

I think this is the case. Felt like 3500 to me, but that's based on a 3500 league gate when 300-400 season ticket holders don't turn up!

Didn't look like Bradford sold out so maybe 1700 home fans. Not brilliant but with no discount, poor home form, Christmas coming, all ticket etc it's not so bad

Me too perhaps, got a direct TUI Dreamliner flight from Manchester to Phuket on 28 January, not returning until 19 February.....haven't even checked on the possible games I'll miss yet.

Those that did make it on Saturday were rewarded with a great win and did their bit by creating a superb atmosphere. 3,100 looked about right. Bradford didn't sell out like they usually do and we were maybe a few short of what we turn out for most league games.

It's not the same playing them anymore as they have become an established league two side! They're not the Billy Big boots they think they are, how many years since the brief Premier league status? Has become just another league game to us. COYS

I think we naturally are basing the announced attendance based on the reported attendances for league games - which as others have stated, are published higher than the actual number of bodies through the gate due to season ticket holders that aren't at the game. The seats did look sparse on Saturday in the family sections.

I actually think 3,100 is a decent attendance, but I suppose if you compare it to the Chester gate back in 2002 (4,300ish) it is quite a bit down. Obviously back then, getting to the FA Cup second round was a big thing.... maybe we have been spoilt in recent seasons because the trip to Chelsea will be the 4th 3rd round tie in the last 5 years! :D
