What a mess... Doesn't look like the club will be sold anytime soon

Our new boss! I sincerely hope not. What a tangled web of deceit they weave.
Why would they want to buy Morecambe FC? There’s got to be something very dubious about it all!

It should be obvious from all the wheeling and dealing between them that it is just a paper chase, and they probably don’t have the finances to buy and support the club.

It’s just a way of Johal getting into the club by deception. It wouldn’t surprise me if Twhittingham isn’t involved somehow with this behind the scenes.

If the EFL were to allow this bunch to buy ANY football club, then football is dead.

Warriors???!??

Now why do I not like that name? :(
I think there may have been some connection with Wurchester at some point?

That was it - Wurchester Warriors! :o

Fans have to take the fight to Jason's home town.
I know some people don't like that idea but it's gonna have to be the next step.

The Trust were told it was 'nothing to do' with Sarb!

Here we go again. If this is true we are going from one untrustworthy buyer to who knows what we are going to get. Why can't it just be simple instead of all these dubious buyers with no financial paper trail. The sooner the football regulation Bill comes in the better, sadly might be too late for us.
Saga continues from the frying pan in to the fire.

Just hope the EFL see through all this collusion and do the right thing and throw the deal out as not being fit and proper.

Jason seems determined to go down this road but unfortunately our BoDs have little if any say in who the new owners may be.

What concerns me is that they seem confident that the deal will be done following the recent meeting with representatives of the proposed new owners which I said at the time was of concern as surely any new owner
would want to introduce himself to our BoDs to discuss his or their plans going forward.

I'm usually very supportive of our BoDs but have they been deceived and swallowed hook line and sinker what they have been told....... :?: :?: :?:

God forbid if they have.......

Why would people with no connection to the town offer a stupid price to buy our club? It doesn’t make any sense. What is in it for them? How will they get their money back? No wonder the EFL are wary of any deal.

Absolutely correct. Protests in Morecambe were the correct step at that time but we now have to up the anti with the combined Shrimps Trust and 1920 Union taking the fight to Jason's door.

Whatever it takes!!!!

Sorry Fulwoodshrimp but how many owners in the 92 league clubs have a local connection to the club they run or own.???

Bet it's less than 20 %

Is it about time that our BoDs named the individual or company that they appeared confident a deal was close as names are now in the public domain.

If noconfirmation or otherwise is not made public then our long held fears that they have been gagged would appear truthful.

If Jason and his cronies get upset.. then tough. It's about time the fans deserved a wee bit of honesty but above all some actual truth.

If Jason and his cronies get upset... ...then sack the board and replace them with his cronies... ...then what?

I'm sure it must be frustrating for the BoD, they're fighting with one arm tied behind their backs.

Well there you go, no different than what people where saying 3-8 months ago, if it's true!!
The question is are the EFL treating it as a new bid? I hope the guys at the EFL know what they are doing?
How can this get through the EFL's processes? Lizzie needs to way in big style along side the Trust. It's all a paper chase being sent to a central hub.
Is it a case of being a Mind blowing bidding process, that seems is non-effective governance of football if all comes to Jason completing the sale to the guy that's been named

MFC is becoming more of a plot and saga than Dallas, Dynasty or Coronation Street, to name a few.
How much longer can this circus carry on?

The TV series would go on longer than Bridgerton

What a mess. No doubt Jason's funding for January panic buying comes from the dubious pop consortium. Do they think we are complete mugs?

How reliable is this Martin Callander?

Is he just putting two and nine different combinations together? like we all have done!! Or has he found something concrete out? Has something been leaked, perhaps, so the name gets out into the public realm.

If it is this guy when you look at his business, in all honesty has he enough funds to buy Morecambe FC and sustain the running of the Club or is he just another front man funded by others?

So the question will be how deep will the EFL dig?

Because is it really possible to carry out proper due diligence.

They are going to need a big, big shovel, allegedly!!

Maybe this guy is submitting his bid in ‘Lorem Ipsum??

I hope he puts nothing embarrassing in the middle of the text!

If he reads this he will know what I mean.

May be it’s just the pain of being a Morecambe FC football fan, that makes me feel it’s all a dummy bid!!!

I'd say he's quite reliable, he's had our backs for a long time and has been covering the saga since almost the beginning.

This isn't really any new information for anyone that follows him on Twitter he put a very long thread about all this about 6+months ago. He had a chart of how all the companies are linked and it's mind blowing

Also there were people that suddenly stepped down as roles of directors of the companies after one of the previous EFL meetings, so I guess the EFL had issues with certain members that they were linked with.

He's just now put it all into words and published an article.

I’ve just Googled ‘Lorem Ipsum’. You are probably correct in your assumption, and I think the same.
This bid, if there is one, is just a front to allow Johal to buy the club. If the EFL can’t see through the smoke screen they are making, we could end up with another bunch of cowboys owning the club.
We’ve just got to hope that they (the EFL) are extremely thorough in their investigations.

He looks very much like the guy who was at a game last season. He was dressed very smartly and passed me outside of the Local Choice Suite before the game.

If not the same guy then he has a double.

Looked not short of a bob or two to be fair....and was very polite when he said excuse me.... :)

Is this the same guy who the Trust appear confident about being the potential bidder for our club... :?: :?: :?:
