Noticed our PA announcer never gives out all the half times can i make a plea over the interval break all our english league scores could be announced ,yes were all interested in league2 and how are rivals are doing ,but rarely do we hear championship and league 1.More time reading the scores would save our ears from the irritating records played at mega volume at half time

To be fair you get them all at full time and there is always the JBs. Id imagine half time is a chance for Mark to wind down as well.

Say what you mean "How are Leeds going on"? For me I would rather listen to the "Birdy Song"
played at 78rpm backwards whilst sat on a nail chewing a wasp than know what Leeds are doing.
But that's just me . ;)

Oh no it's not!

Who cares about the half-time scores outside Division Two? I'd rather have Conference scores than Division 1.

Isn't that during the game itself? Especially when there are no goals  I'm sure I remember Mr Teeside giving them all out in days of old :P

Setting the computer programmes up to be able to see the scores as they happen
Next game at Christie Park,
Next Reserves Game at Christie Park
Ad hoc presentations
Community Footie Cards Scheme
Asking Journos who suddenly start to make lots of noise at half time to keep it down a bit ;)

But will try my best to keep everyone happy :D

You are right Marky, we used to do all half time scores, but that was before Uncle Kens half time show that sometimes takes three minutes and sometimes holds up the second half kick off. I have to be flexible. I will try harder.

Saying that we used to play 'Simply the Best' from an old tape machine. Some things change for the better! :D

He was pointing out what you meant, not what you said, hence the eyesight test isn't required. Top flight and League 2 scores would do for me. Somewhat indifferent to what the Swindon v Leeds is/was.

It would have been rude not to! :D

I did feel bad afterwards about making such a meal out of it. If any Man Utd fan has been affected by yesterday's events please call the careline on 41414141 :P

Talking about Manchester Untied fans, a comment that stuck in my mind today after reading an article in the times by Rod Liddle:

"It is very difficult to be angry with Jose Mourinho for slapping a Manchester United supporter: we've all been there, surely. I saw one of them in a queue in he supermarket the other week in Swindon, some late middle-aged lunkhead dressed in his bright red shirt with 'Giggs' written, somewhat inappropriately, on the back. I found it pretty hard to retain myself then and the bloke wasn't even singing, just loading up his shopping bags with crisps and filth."

How true.

Fergie had a drink after the game yesterday.

It was 1-4 the road.
