O/T - The Budget (possible Taxi Surcharge)

Just booked a long distance Taxi ride for the end of January direct with a local taxi firm owner. He told me the charge for the trip but also told me it was subject to a surcharge that was likely to be announced during the current Governments Autumn Budget, ie. a 15p per mile surcharge.

Not something I'd thought about or anticipated.....that could be [or might be] an extra £21 to that trip.
