This bloke, everyone knows my feelings about how this fella conducts himself appears he is untouchable with the current board. I have wandered away from being a regular to being an occasional visitor. The fact that we are there for the taking every week, the football is pedestrian clearly the fans have turned, the players seem to have multiple off days a midfield rarely puts in a robust challenge.
Then I have to listen to and watch this mug tell me I:
a. Don't know anything
b. Everything he says is gospel (Well guess what it is BS most of the time)
c. The fans are upsetting the players and him.
Bloke even blamed a 4-0 home defeat on the fans and kept his job. We had some momentum last season up until January then the wheels came off, I have Motorcycles and if I can enjoy Saturday out on the Bike (as I did this Saturday) then I will and read about how he is strangling the life out of the club and how great he is at Managing at some point on Sunday. Not going back till he is managing Liverpool

Nobody should ever square up to anybody in a football game so yes the guy is an idiot for that. But if your saying it's because of the red card. D.A got a red the other week for simply speaking to the forth official. Maybe as some have suggested bring in rugby's sin bin for the lesser offences.

To be fare he got his teams playing fast attacking football
But he was dark arts master, he did well with Bolton, but I wonder why no other clubs came knocking on the door for him ?
Perhaps the football world know a different side than we see

I never want a person to lose their job, but this fella had over stayed his welcome by over 12 months, I had stopped going sometime ago. I was staggered that he stayed on after blowing the Play Off final. He had been told time after time that he had to have a Plan B.
The truth is he refused to be flexible and refused to listen to anyone other than his Blackpool massive who were just glorified yes men. Any team with physicality would be in with a chance and he refused to address this weakness.
I hope the Board take time as this season is a bit of a car crash and get the right man (I would take Derek).
For Evatt I think he has been on the verge of poor mental health kind of hoping someone he listens to advises him to seek some help.

Get your eyes off Derek. I wouldn't blame if he goes but we are definitely sunk if he does

Schumacher or Ryan Lowe will probably be favourites but there have been mentions of Steve Evans and Mr Robinson.

Evatt gone after another shameful red card, what he did at the Mazuma a few years ago was the worst I’ve seen from an opposing manager.
I know a few who in their humble opinion believe that his actions went a long way towards inciting the crowd and it changed the result. You could see clearly from the Berlin Wall how he inflamed the Bolton supporters before the pitch invasion.
It was also a bit fraught walking back to the car near Regents Park.
Opinions are just opinions, Bolton fans my not see it like that and that’s fine, disagreement on issues will always abound.

What he did on that occasion was thoroughly disgraceful, subjecting an innocent individual to a police investigation when they'd done nothing wrong. He ought to have been charged for wasting police time, if nothing else.

I fell out with Evatt early doors as it became obvious he had a sketchy relationship with the truth and he drove me away from my beloved football club, in a number of ways he alienated himself with the remaining fan base with his behaviour, but he got away with it by bringing in results. Would not ask anyone least from mem other than hoping he gets help for his issues.
I am a big fan of what Derek does and how he does it with his hands tied behind his back most of the time, I suspect the club will look elsewhere though.
Whatever comes next we close this chapter of being dragged through the mud, Lowe or Shumaker (spelling) will be top of the list some are dreaming of Big Sam coming back in some capacity with a young coach, don't see that. Gary O'Neill had a stint at the club and was pencilled in as interim Boss before they stole Evatt from Barrow.
Steve Evans has connections with the club but not so much with the fans cannot see that being popular and the board need to get this one right. Julian Darby from Ball boy to Manager (even if only interim).
