Decent attempt at a counter there. Just needed that cross to be a hair better.

Interesting first half an hour. No really clear chances, but Crewe had the better half chances. Excellent defensive header by Williams to put the ball over the bar. Jones had our only half-chance, but put it well wide. Their defence & keeper look a bit flakey when put under pressure.

Really need to stop giving away penalties...

Low hard shot from Slew probably our best chance yet. Oh crap it’s a stupid penalty to give away. And that’s 1-0.

Ref had been having a good game, then suddenly gave Crewe a penalty for something that only he saw. Two penalties against us, in two games, and they were both incredibly soft.

These things even themselves out... Really?

We all suspected it was going to be a long hard season. Today just confirms it!

Well we did nothing wrong for 44 minutes and then a soft penalty according to the commentator.
No benefit of replays today so can’t really say yes or no. What do we have to do to score?
An evenly matched 1st half, we don’t deserve to be a goal behind. It’s almost as if we are cursed not to score. Keep going lads, it will come.
