I love my Land Rover! I once had to park it on my lawn.

Actually, self depreciation aside, my Hyundi Coupe had a 2 litre engine and I regularly saw 110mph on the clock (no national speed limit on the Isle of Man) My Land Rover is also 2 litre engine but is diesel and rarely gets above 70mph, so I'm actually spending less on fuel now than when I had a sports car. Plus, when we had snow, I was happily plodding to work without sliding all over the place (I had to go and get my wife from her work because her sporty car couldn't cope).

And this 'grant' is to develop a greener car so good news... oh, and a few jobs might survive on the back of it!

So how did that work out then?
