Morecambe FC- The Journey so far

Morecambe FC- The Journey so far

Postby BerlinWaller » Thu Aug 08, 2024 2:42 pm

My 15 year old lad put this video together today. It's really worth watching, a nice trip down memory lane. It would be great to see it played on the scoreboard during the 1st home game of the season.

Had tears of joy watching that. Too young to be at the first games shown but at Wembley for the Trophy win and the later Wembley wins.

My favourite bit though is Cainy passing the cup to me in the crowd at Deepdale! I'm the handsome one with the tache. LOL.

Thanks, i'll pass the nice words on to him.

It's good to remember what a proper football club this is and that we have had some brilliant moments. We all joined the journey at different times but we all love the club.

Good stuff. Three Wembley trips in my lifetime. Actually, four, because I took my Burnley wife to watch the Clarets beat Sheffield United in their Play-Off final too. But the Shrimps were the best! :D

Amazing video.

Its incredible that my 'second team' (since 1997) has come as far as it has. Truly remarkable.
