Spent Friday's afternoon looking after my 4 year old grand daughter at a Soft Play Centre in Fulwood, Preston and thought what a superb development it would be for our club. There were over 25 kids at the Centre when we went at 2.30pm each parent or guardian paying £5 for 45 minutes of out and out fun.

Spoke to the Centre manager and he said that with money from the cafe which is part of the complex they average after expenses of circa £1000 clear per week....more when it is school holidays.

Thought that if the current Tyson Gym ever became available and with some major internal alterations what a superb cash cow such a facility for the local children would be for our club.

Not sure if there is something similar in the town but if funding ever became available what a beneficial asset for our club and the towns children it could prove to be.

If monies were available the unused land adjacent to the Hurley pub could be developed to include an indoor recuperation, fitness and wellness centre for the club in addition to a soft play centre as described above.

The new owners of Carlisle FC have invested £8 million in new infrastructure at their club. Just imagine if we got an owner prepared to invest say £5 million into our clubs infrastructure...what could be.....

I've repeatedly said similar about needing new owners and some new directors with a more entreprenneurial and marketing spirit to push things like that, i.e. make much better use of all the land and building space which is barely used other than on match days. It's exactly what PMG promised fans, but between him and MD, they botched it up! All we have heard for 15 years now is making the club "self sustainable" from non football activities, but nothing ever happens, with broken promises from a succession of new owners. (No, I'm not blaming the Board, they've done wonders just to keep the football side of things on track - I'm meaning new Board members with the time, energy (and more importantly backing financially) to develop the non football side of the club's premises).

I enquired about paying for a parking space and apparently there is a waiting list of several years.

That Land next to the Hurley which now resembles a jungle could have been levelled and hardcore put down when the club had some money. A lot of cars could have paid £200 per season to park on there.

Maybe if we ever manage to purchase the G3 pitches back from Tyson Fury they could be converted into car parking.

Redevelop the Berlin Wall, a new stand to make the Stadium better. Buy the Hurley Flyer off the owners and redevelop it and the spare land next to it. (Too late on the other side unfortunately). Acquire some land off the caravan park, buy back the training pitches and re-jig it all and make the rough land we have to park on round the away end better for taking your car on.

That needs a lot of money so maybe a roof for the Berlin Wall and invest in the players for now!!

I have a parking space in the rear area laughingly called a car park which costs me £175 a season . Any amount of rain and a good third of the area is unusable. The car park never seems full to capacity maybe it’s because of the flooding !

Car parking is being made available for tomorrow's game at £10 a go...

Sadly, a complete waste of time, at considerable cost. We can never stop psychopaths who are willing to lose their own life, in support of a warped version of their god. If they can't go to a concert (bearing in mind, the murderer in Manchester, wasn't actually at the concert, but on the concourse outside) or a football match, they'll simply carry out their murder on buses, or trains. Or, walk in to a supermarket.

Our stadium is 14 years old now and has had no investment from Jason.
The roof in the Halo terrace was massively funded by the Trust.
Had portable toilets on the Berlin wall. New red seats were paid for by the Trust.
New TV paid for by the Trust

The main function room was the best in Lancaster and Morecambe but it's starting to look dated now.
Need to step up the action against Jason.

Why invest in something you don't really own? PMG never invested in Christie Park during the years that he threw money at the club.

So from day 1 when Jason became custodian of the club he lied. Went on itv saying he and Rodney planned to invest money into the club.
It's my guess that he's not millions out of pocket but actually in profit

Same here. Would someone please summarise what changes we can expect to see or experience?

Said all along after we got a shiny new building, where will the money come from to pay for repairs, updates and general upkeep of the property.

The Bill is at Scrutiny stage, so not an Act yet. Actually, I'm not sure what the situation is with a new government, if it will continue or not?

Basically, as a result of a campaign by the survivors, and the families of murdered people, at the Manchester Arena bombing, in particular the mother of Martin Hett, hence 'Martin's Law', public areas with capacity for more than 800 people will require enhanced security measures in order to reduce the risk from terrorism.

Quite what will be required at stadiums like ours is yet to be made clear. More security, increased bag checks etc?
