As expected but grim when you see it in black and white.

Crap, Edward’s, Moore and Charlie we knew about but Kayden Harrack I got mixed up with Brendan Barker who we never saw the best of and now never will. Was hoping we would keep him and Joel. Never mind, keep the faith I have a nigling feeling about all this is going to come good, I hope, not to say I also have a feeling it won’t lol

Don’t forget we made offers for Rawson, Tutonda and Senior so we tried but they opted not to accept

I think the late wages on 28th April made up a few minds.
Another payday due a week tomorrow so let's see what happens.

Wonder if it was GB who made the decision about who not to offer a contact to before he left and that the BoDs have stuck to his decisions.
OR was the yet to be announced new manager had a hand in it.....
Very surprised that Slew wasn't offered something as well as Rawson.

I suspect it means we've offered him an improved deal which if he doesn't accept could trigger a transfer fee from whoever he goes to.
Mind you I could be wrong....

Depends if he accepts our offer.
Surprised no offer has been made to Bedeau "at this time". Does this mean an offer may be made to him ?

Surprised we didn't offer Bedeau, Stokes and Slew a contract unless we already knew they were getting interest from elsewhere.
Too me it doesn't sound like we have a budget sorted yet for next season if we couldn't offer some of the others contracts yet.

Better than I expected to be honest ..thought we were just going to see Charlie Brown next season
But to also see Edwards and Moore is a bonus
Let's see what happens that's all we can do

I think we’ve pulled a fast one there with JJ, brill if he stays BUT he’s one of our lowest earners and we can’t increase it so doubtful he will stay really however we now get compensation if he goes because we offered him a deal. Bedeau no surprise, shame but no surprise being a top earner, Love no loss plus highest earner, Rawson shame but his decision and Senior very big loss but again we can’t increase any deals due to the embargo

I thought we had to have made an increased offer in order to get compensation?

Training compensation is payable when a player under 23 signs for another club until the end of the season in which he turns 23 so I’m not actually sure we needed to make the offer but I’m sure there is another rule whereby if we have made an equal or higher offer of a contract but the player ops to go elsewhere then higher compensation comes in to force

It does say “ not offered a contract at this time”
So just perhaps they are hoping something will be sorted before they are out of contract and can then make offers ??? Either the sale of the club or embargo lifted or both

If they don't get paid this month it becomes a breach of contract that they can walk away from.

Rawson, Love, Tutonda and Senior all turned down extended contracts! Probably all sorted out with other Clubs and who can blame them.

Difficult to understand but there must be a good reason for his exclusion.

The academy retained list is broken down into 1st, 2nd and 3rd year scholars. Given that Rooney and Pedley have been released and were third years, is 3 years the limit for how long you can be in an academy? Could be they are also offered pro contracts if the ownership is sorted. Although that didn't stop us offering Fox-Akande one so maybe not.

Having been away for a couple of weeks the only news I got was that concerning the superb confirmation of the return of DA.
Has there been an update regarding JJ staying as a central part of the new DA rebuild.

On the official EFL website there is a list of released players and a list of retained players for all 3 divisions, some interesting stuff there including Newport releasing Aaron Wildig. It also says J Hiwula is on a monthly contract for us! I am sure Derek will sort that out,Hiwula is about the worst player ever to pull on a Shrimps shirt, just saying!
