I've got my boots clean. But I can't find my away shirt. OK if we play skins today?
I usually play somewhere on the right btw.

Whoever is in the team today, it's not their fault the club's in the pit of sh*t it finds itself in. So I hope they get some good support, whatever the result.

And if they do need a 65 year old winger ...
I'll be in the stand.

Well it's down south so it might be warm enough if you're not fried enough already!

The forecast is a balmy 10C.
But I think I'll keep my coat on until I get on the pitch.

To Anyone who has travelled to day, a big big shout out to you and kudos to you.

How desperate are we? ( be kind to an old fool)!

Question:-
Can a team carry one player if that player scores goal. The teams job is to do all the running, all the work while I stand there and they feed me the chances, I’m fit for my age and with 13wks of fitness training I think I could be the equivalent of a good 50yr old.

I learnt how to sniff a chance and how to put the ball in the net as a 7yr old playing against older teenagers because I went with my older brother. I went from them arguing about ‘you can have him’ to being picked from the line out quite early after the local superstars in our area.

To give you an idea of my age, Jimmy Greaves, Dennis Law and Alan Clark were my hero’s

Then to cap it all I will play for a cup of tea and a biscuit at half time and I will wash my own kit.

If not I’ll manage the team for nothing.

Or most likely just keep twaddling down to the Mazuma.
