That is a question which would be covered by the EFL test for owner suitability. If any club has an owner who cannot or will not supply additional funds when needed that club's only option is to match expenditure with income by cutting staff, lowering wage bills etc. whatever that leads to.

The timing of all this is pretty bad. It’s hard enough attracting quality players to play for Morecambe - how will we persuade anyone to sign/re-sign in the summer if we’re in administration? Time marches on and next season will start whether we’re ready for it or not.

They are after Preston but asking price of 50 million is too much ...also looking at 2 other clubs
