Cheers for Ged, Ben, all the best! What does this mean for next season, the whole club is falling apart around us.

We may not even be able to field a team come August!

Not good at all.

Cheers Ben, all the best. Now that’s worrying that is happening, might not be the only one. What to do about the season ticket????

You can't really blame him - with the continuing uncertainty that surrounds the club. It also represents a departure from the clubs board of directors.

Ben has done a great job here, which he should be commended for. Good luck to him in the future.

Interesting to see what direction we go in from here. Sell the club Jason!

In the last 5 months we have lost :

IMHO Morecambe's greatest ever Manager.

The best groundsman we have ever had.

The best CEO we have ever had who has overseen a doubling of the clubs income , record season ticket sales , fan engagement instead of treating us like mushrooms (kept in the dark and shat on) as previously happened.

A sickening day for the club.

I think ambition sneaks in a bit with that one too.

As for everything else, it comes down to cutting the cloth to fit in with the prevailing circumstances......unfortunate as they are that's what has to be done.

Anyone else get the feeling that it's all unwinding.

I didn't mean they have all left for the same reason. I was just pointing out the calibre of staff that have departed in recent months.

As Ben left due to what is going on at our club or another reason !!!!

Maybe he wants to better himself and have a new challenge at a new club

Can't blame anyone for wanting to progress in their careers. So good luck to Ben and thank you for promoting our club into what it has become over the past years despite the off field antics of a ceretain individual.

As for a successor there is one person already in the Shrimps family who is ideal for the position if they are prepared to look for a slight career change. Already an accomplished professional in the media world and well respected throughout the club both at BoD level and at the footballing level.

Whether they would be interested is another matter but i for one feel that they are ideal for the role.

I wish Ben all the best and thank him for his hard work, but I don’t see this as bad news.
