This story emanates from Alan Nixon - a 'journo' on twitter.

Around a month ago, he published story in reverse; John Doolan was seemingly going to be Geds assistant because they are purportedly good friends. It stinks of lazy journalism.. albeit Doolan to Morecambe was believable because at the time it he hadn't yet been given the full-time managers position at Accy.

Personally - unless Ged is relieved of his duties (unlikely IMO - he has done a good job all things considered against a backdrop of uncertainty) or their is a lucrative opportunity higher up the pyramid, I can't see Ged leaving his role to become an assistant manager at a League Two club.

Remember Nixon was selling Stockton to Fleetwood not long ago. That worked well! Just a rumour journo
