Our average gate is now 3,999 , about 320 more than Barrow and over 1,300 more than Accrington Stanley. A great effort from the commercial team in marketing and our fans for turning out in such numbers despite the ownership problems.

Superb effort by the Commercial Team to make season tickets so affordable and on Ged in bringing a more enjoyable (despite results) style of football that fans want to see.

Is it possible to compare this season figures with that of the last 2 seasons in EFL1.... :?: :?: :?:

Far cry from the last few years under JB

So redrobbo you enjoy the attacking play at home,by my reckoning the home record under GB in L2 is played 12 won 3 drawn 3 lost 6,goals for 14 and against 21.And your happy with that, well I am not happy with that when you remember we were unbeaten at home under the previous manager.I am sure that a lot of fans will not renew their season tickets after witnessing those losses!

Based purely on results I can't argue against your comments BUT I'd rather we played attractive attacking football that provides entertainment than the sterile and ultra cautious stuff we've had to put up with over the last few seasons .

I accept we are in a results based industry but I've watched my team long enough to now have white hair and for me the style of football we now are playing is a lot more enjoyable to watch than that under a number of previous managers......only my thoughts obviously and probably very much in the minority.... :)

If we get 3500 for our last two home games ...

Average home crowd for the season would be 3955 which is pretty good for league 2

What was our average crowds for the 2 seasons in league 1 ????

According to a website I just looked at - 21/22 - 4,310 and 22/23 - 4,572. Boosted, obviously by the 'big teams' away following.

I think our home support has stood up well to relegation to EFL2 as the away number in EFL2 were always going to be lower. Well done to everybody who has stayed loyal.....

Just hope that Season Tickets sales are similar in numbers as the current season.

Would be interesting to know if the home fans only number has stayed relatively the same compared to the last couple of seasons. Might have a look if I can find the data in a bit.

Just look at the clubs who we missed during the current season and the probable away numbers who came to the Maz of teams such as Derby. Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton to name a few shows for me how well our gates have held up without their visits.

We are down circa 500...whilst Accy did well being only circa 312 down and FG being 757 down.

From memory, figuring out the home attendances by deducting the away attendances off the total, game by game at the time, I think it's dropped from around 3500 in League 1 to around 3100 in League 2, which is probably still around double what it used to be in League 2 before promotion!

That's not too bad. Keeping it above 3000 and our overall average attendance above 4000 would be good going I would say.

Average has finished on 4,002 which is excellent.
