Thats what they have named the Macclesfield v Accrington game. To tempt fans in they are selling tickets for a fiver, including a programme!, and doing the hospitality deal for £20
These are testing times for football clubs. This offer is a bargain for those that would have gone anyway and may attract a few floaters but does it make economic sense
They average just short of 2000 a game and bearing in mind its a midweek game with Champions League live on free TV they are obviously going to struggle. 2000 at £14 would net them £28000 so at a fiver they will need an attendance over 5000
