I think the highest attendance was 5375 being the Newcastle game in 2013?

We can't hit capacity because half the Berlin wall has to be closed as well as half block B due to the segregation netting.

The 6.476 is just an academic figure of what the ground is licensed to hold if it was only Morecambe fans inside which will never happen.

The highest attendance was against Sunderland on the last day of the season in 21/22. We hit 5831 that day and it was completely sold out for home and away fans so I think that is probably the realistic capacity.

We also hit 5769 against Lincoln on the last home game last season when we beat them 3-2. Notable as this was our highest ever home attendance due to us opening up the usual away end behind the goal to home fans.

Wikipedia does say 6476 is the capacity but I can't see how we could hit that even without any sort of segregation between home and away fans. I think 6000 would be the absolute realistic limit.

Why does half of the Berlin wall have to be shut. I gather that it’s for segregation reasons, but what’s the issue if the BW only houses home fans?

Barrow have sold their first 1000 tickets and have now been given 300 more standing tickets. Will half the BerlinWall be shut? I believe the game has been given the lowest catergory by the Police.

I hope there are still tickets available for the home end. I have 1 free ticket (Won on shrimps Trust draw) left and I was planning on getting the wife a ticket, today after work.

Noticed on Tuesday that there appeared to be two temporary portable toilets placed in the middle of the BW. Are these to be placed in the closed section of the BW in case away fans have infiltrated home areas and have to be moved into that section of the BW.

It seems excessive if half of it has been closed just for segregation.

Reading this thread with talk of home games against Sunderland and Newcastle makes you realise how far we've come in the last few years. Add to that the many other 'big clubs' we've played very recently such as Sheff Wed, Bolton, Derby, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Charlton etc' etc'. Just incredible really.

The female toilets have been shut all season due to a dodgy roof. The portable loo's are a replacement.

I think the maximum tickets we can sell is about 5900. Hundreds lost to view restrictions, segregation and the reduced capacity of the away end due to the tightness of the concourse
