Crawley (H) Predictions

Can't keep these boys down!

Return to the Mazuma with loads of confidence after the comeback against Crewe. Hopefully not over-confident.

Think I'll go for a 3-1 win myself.

Crawley have won their last three and will also be eyeing up a Play-Off spot. They've kept three clean sheets too. But, we're looking good too. 2-2.

We can't get into the top 7 even if we beat Crawley tomorrow as Gillingham play Barrow. But a decent score will push us nearer the top. Let's have another Shrimps 6- Southerners 0 but with the bonus of no Steve Evans heard from down the corridor.

Our midweek games feel the hardest to predict. Then again, all of our games do recently.

I'll go Morecambe 2-1 Crawley

Hoping we're not too leggy after Saturday's exertions and they don't take advantage in the last quarter.
1-0 still gets you the 3 points, and that'll make it a great night for me. COYS !

In honour of the late Dave Myers, who witnessed our emphatic victory over top of the league Crawley about 10 years ago, I'm going 6 - nil home win. Steve Evans wasn't a happy chap that sunny afternoon

Remember that day well. Meeting the Hairy Bikers outside the ground who were handing out free samples of our various pies and then winning 6-0 against a top of the table Crawley.

The Bikers were fantastic blokes. So friendly and funny. Amazing characters.

Crawley will be well rested having had no game on Saturday and travelled North on Monday with an overnight stay at Lancaster Holiday Inn. Not sure what they did today but maybe a walk along the old rail track towards the Halton Bridge to stretch their legs.... :?: :?: :?:

Can see a 1-1 draw with yet another early goal given away.
