I guess that ur fav Scottish team could be Livingston. I love the notion of friends choosing a team to follow.

I grew up in Motherwell but always had a soft spot for Morecambe after coming here on holiday. Never imagined that I'd end up moving here and following them into the Football League.

Welcome on board and let us know when you want to come down for a game.

Don't listen to Curley, he's a twat! :D  Until he tells Shrimper he's wrong "Shrimper" is fine in the context you used. Just don't call Morecambe "the Shrimpers" then you wil bring the wrath of god down upon you!

Welcome!

Oh and Blinks is out for the rest of the season. He's struggled to be honest, injuries and an inability to score has made this a season for him to forget.

Here Here Mr Keith!
That Curley is a twat!!!!
He's always trying to impersonate me, but it can't be done.
there is only one Curly!!!

Surprised no one has mentioned Scouseport or Lancaster as local rivals????

Welcome Mc shrimp..!

Morecambe is my second team too, so its a great choice.

The banter is great, fans are the best in the business and team not half bad either.

Make sure you dont get the shrimps/shrimpers/shrimpettes thing wrong, or worst still..spell morecumb wrong or they'll tar and feather you for that :D

fantastic result at dag & red by the way boys ! ;)

Hello Leigh. You certainly chose well for banter and you certainly chose well for quality too.
Everyone on here will always make new fans more than welcome, we have our crotchty old gits, but until we save enough money for a new care home we have to let them free to wander the streets of Shrimpsvoices.
I've been to Livingston several times (I went to Hamilton a few years back and have seen a few cup games and the Dunfermline match several times.) as my in-laws live in Dunfermline and I don't want to give my money to Hearts and Hibs too many times. Is the pub stillin the little shopping centre?
Anyhow, the guys here will keep you smiling with endless posts of glories past and future with the odd insult thrown in if someone posts something daft. If you're ever in that position, don't take it personally just give it back!

been away working with no internet access :(

much has been discussed in my absence :) my scottish team is Hearts, i am 24 so growing up in Livingston my nearest team was Heart of Midlothian, i do look out for Livingston as they are of course my local team nowadays but only came about late 90s.

The wee centre does still have the pub in Livingston and now the wee centre is one of the biggest in Britain lol they just keep building more, Bradford on Good Friday sounds amazing, think that will be getting seriously looked into, i am a young Daddy to a babygirl so nights out are usually not an option lol but who knows eh :)

as for lucky charm? lol away to daggers and good draw v Bury leaves us 10 unbeaten so lucky was already on our side, i dont feel right sayin us and we until i have been to a game

Welcome aboard mate, you seem to be the only Shrimp fan who has never seen us lose !

You'll also be pleased to know that we too have a wee centre in Morecambe just like you.

It's by the Clock Tower on the promenade.

Really sorry.
