Please NO......certainly would be a knee jerk reaction in my opinion.

GB for me IF it is an internal appointment. Has proved very successful when in charge of the youth at Accy.

https://www.morecambefc.com/news/2023/s ... hing-team/

Ross County fans not convinced that its a good appointment.

I reiterate, the same David Artell who led Crewe to promotion in his first season ??

Knows the area having played for Preston, but salary a no go having just left QPR where he wouldn't have been cheap!

Coley and Jimmy Bell for me but as stated we may not be in a financially sound situation to afford managers currently under contract elsewhere.

Moose did a good job at Crewe but has been out of football for quite a while now.

Had 3 years left on his QPR contract so his payout should mean he can work for us for a mellon starter, a meat pie and tray of chips

Has anyone got the bookmakers latest odds on our next manager ?

I think The Moose would be a decent punt , Ex Shrimp , decent record at Crewe for most of his time there , no compensation to pay.

I am glad we only need 23 points , probably less , for EFL2 survival.

Not a very inspiring list. Moose the only realistic option of the 5. Surprised Neil Warnock isn't on the betting list !

I am not trying to make any suggestions, but there happens to have been a piece on Neil Warnock Sky T.V. now out of work saying he doesn't care what level. He just wants the challenge, preferably with a club in a position of a chance of promotion.

Yes, I'd love to see him here! Always had something positive to say about us when he was at Wycombe, relating to him being a "North-west lad".

The club knew about the approach from Ross County “late last week.”

I have never seen Greg Strong's on the Who's Who in the OWS.

I would imagine he will move to work for Derek at Ross. Derek knew Ged Brannan from their Motherwell days so maybe we will lose him too.

The Ross announcement says the backroom staff will stay, but we all know how these things change, Diarmuid was soon on his bike

Tweet from Dan Jewell of BBC Lancashire:

" The #accrington boss John Coleman on being one of the favourites in the betting to be the new #Morecambe manager:
“I wouldn’t particularly take notice of the bookmakers… I think I once applied for the Notts County job and I was behind (the golfer) Lee Westwood in the betting…” "

And he's "on the move" up the Scottish Premier table, looking at making the top half split later in the season. I can't believe how good he is at getting incredible results.

All turning a bit shite at Ross County

"WTF is going on with our club, I chose not to attend today's PT match but the reports of our own supporters being manhandled by security & thrown out are disgusting.

The atmosphere around Victoria Park since the return of DA has been poisonous, I've never seen a coach make a whole squad of players, WORSE like this before.

The head of the security needs a toe up their arse & Adams needs punted asap."
