Club shop closed....

Arrived late yesterday for the game but fancied looking round the club shop after the game to possibly buy a new shirt. I found after the game that it was closed. :o

Is there a reason for this; such as a daft FA ruling or are the club maybe being a bit short sighted? I would have thought that being open for an hour or two after the game would be one of their best times to sell some merchandise?

Good point tho, well made...just after a game is a god time to sell esp after a good result

Exactly. A lot of fans don't live close to the ground or the shop and are probably most likely to want to buy something after an inspiring performance on the pitch.

Agree with you wild Bill having been asked to pick up a replica shirt for someone after the game previously i was surprised to find the shop closed. I think this is a missed opportunity for the club to raise further revenue.

I agree that the club is missing out, a couple of times this season I've been going to get my hand in my pocket for a new shirt after the game and then been disappointed to find the shop shut. I can't see that folk will want to hang around in the cold for 20 minutes waiting for the shop to re-open.

I still haven't got my new shirt..
