Cambridge Predictions

Cambridge Predictions

Postby Keith » Mon Mar 06, 2023 9:06 am

Please, please, PLEASE...

Set up and play like we did on Saturday. This is a 'must win game'. Obviously, technically, we can lose it and still stay up, but these are the games we must win if we are going to pull away from the bottom, without relying upon 'freak' results against top teams. Win, and we're six points clear of Cambridge, on the same games played. Lose, and we're only ahead of them on goal difference (assuming they don't win by five!)

Equally, it is a 'must win' for them, so they will need to give it a go, too.

Side that played Bolton turn up: 0-3 :D :D :D [PLEASE!!!]

So how did that work out then?

I agree that both sides will be going for it so it should be a good game.

Three sets of people know this is a must win, the management, the players, and the fans. Set up like Saturday,
Them 0- Shrimps 3.

Caught a bit of the Cambridge game after ours on Saturday and it will not be easy. That said, we really need a result.

Out of hope more than anything, Cambridge 0-1 Morecambe.

Them 2 us 0.

It's the away form which is our Achilles Heel this season. Yet another very difficult game I'm afraid.

By the sounds of DA in his pre match interview the team traveled to Cambridge on Monday which is unusual for a Tuesday game.

Let's hope that we can come away from the game with at the very least a point.

It's Cambridge away so 1-0 defeat, 2 red cards for us, stonewall penalty not given right at the end and a penalty given to them for handball when one of our centre backs controls the ball with their foot.

Oh and the red cards will be for the cleanest tackles you will ever see.
