Stevenage away for me in the Fa Trophy replay 06/07.

It was fooking freezing, and a shite game! Got beat in extra time didnt we? The food hut did a roaring trade on Bovril. What was i doing going to a Trophy game at stevenage midweek anyway!

Accy away when it was on sky a couple of years ago on a Tuesday night.

Daisy Hill was pretty cold but they had calor gas heater in the club house, quality!

The wettest was Oxford in the FA cup it started raining when I walked in the ground and stopped when I walked out. My clothes were still wet through when I got back to Morecambe.

Darlington away last season was pretty cold with the wind blowing around the 3/4 empty stadium. some nice scenery there and back though, snow covered fells and such.

Me too. You could actually see the ground turn white and freeze in front of you.

Darlington. Their stadium should be called the fridge.

Maybe it would have been walmer if it was more full - body temperature etc.

Nelson away many years ago in the Junior Cup.

it started to snow with about 20 minutes left. I was covered in the white stuff and then it started to thaw!

*esus even a bloody hot East Lancashire firey curry couldn't warm me up...but a cup of hot chocolate when I got home worked wonders!

Bradford last season. It was freezing all through the game, then when we left the ground the street outside was about 10 degrees warmer; almost tropical in comparison!

Glentoran v Linfield. Someone thought it would be a jolly jape to freeze our nads off at a game in Ireland between two teams I'd barely heard of.

Crackin' day it was too!

Coldest I've ever been in my life was returning from watching the second half of Spennymoor v Morecambe. Riding home in very sub zero temperature, high above the snow line. I wrote an article for the programme but the editor never used it.. :(

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Can't remember what year it was (something like 1994 or 1995) but it was Halifax away, midweek, at the Shay. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and by the second half the wind was whipping off the Pennines around that massive, empty stadium which acted like a big wind tunnel. Like a prat I wanted to show my Morecambe shirt so I'd ditched the coat in the car thinking that the nips of Whiskey would keep me warm.

vs Southport at Christie Park a few new years days ago. Some hangovers spent the morning shoveling all the ice off the pitch and dragging those large plastic sheets away covered in thick ice only for it to be called off. I suppose that's the coldest game you didn't go to ;)

Easily Canvey Island at home when we beat the 4-0 a few seasons ago. I hurt my leg the night before and it eventually seized up when I was stood in the North Stand facing the biting wind. I could hardly walk afterwards.
