Transfer Window

Transfer Window

Postby redrobo » Tue May 31, 2022 10:44 am

I think I'm right in that the new Transfer Window opens tomorrow and that those players offered a new contract have to decide if they wish to stay at our club or become available for free :?:

To date we've had no news of any new signings despite other clubs being quite active in announcing new signings.

Hope fully DA will be able to provide an update of players he's already got on board in the next few days.

i hope Fane resigns, and i’ve got a feeling Wildig might retire or move on now he’s sold his house round here.

I think Fane is already on a contract until the end of the coming season.

Hope Aaron isn't considering retirement, he's only 30, could have another five years of league football easily.

Transfer window opens at the end of this week. Will we hear the good, the bad or the downright ugly?

I don't give a damn what players look like as long as they can keep us in D3. Watching Sky sports tonight seeing headlines of players signing for clubs in Scotland. Do they have different transfer window timing ?

All's quiet on the transfer speculation / news for almost every club in EFL1.

No doubt from tomorrow when the window opens news of players packing their bags for pastures new will be in full swing which will provide urgent fuel for fans forums throughout the league which in most cases have been short on speculation..... ;)

Let's hope that DA can work his magic yet again and put together an almost brand new squad that will see us NOT in a relegation battle once again..... :?: :?: :?:

Not a new Shrimps signing but news of Fleetwood paying a 6 figure transfer fee for a midfield player from EFL2 club Colchester United.

The Fleetwood owner is still facing criminal charges for questionable financial business practices I understand... :?: :?: :?:

And this is a club who in 2020 were £20 million in the red...... :o :o :o

Sounds as though many clubs are only having moderate success in the current transfer window and for many fans it's like watching paint to dry waiting for some transfer news concerning incoming players.

They've had a couple of big money sales during the summer. Perhaps their financial situation is resolved? I must admit, I had them as one of the struggling sides next season

So how did that work out then?

The lack of transfer activity at our club is worrying BUT it may be that until a player becomes officially available as from 30 June that no confirmation of in comings can be made....let's hope so because as it stands no news is bad news.
