Shocking.

Whilst we were achieving a great away win at Aldershot, 'Weymouth' were getting hammered at home by Rushden. I didn't realise till it was announced later that Weymouths' senior squad had walked out just before the game and they were forced to play a youth team. By youth team I assumed they were maybe 17 and 18 year olds. However I've just seen a picture of several of the Weymouth team posted on the Aldershot forum and most of them look about 15. It's amazing the score wasn't 29-0. I can only think that Rushdens players strolled through the game. If Weymouth are forced to play the same team again against a promotion contender, for example, then it could be a cricket score.
Don't know how to transfer pictures but it is worth a look because in 40 years of watching football around that level I haven't seen anything as crazy.

(I'm assuming its wages related, with no reason printed)

all the proffessional players been placed on notice and all insurance had been canceled so PFA said they cant play, as they gotta find new clubs.

The club told the players they were no nearer paying them and they didn't have medical insurance for that game. The players are looking for new clubs now I think.

Cheers, So are Weymouth "winding up" then?
