Since our defeat against Bradford we have only conceded 7 goals in 9 games. The defence have taken a lot of stick on this forum in the past,i.e. lack of pace, hoofing the ball forward,i think they should be congratulated over the said 9 games.I remember Bruce and Pallister not being the best footballers in the world but together they were a formidable partnership. Not knocking Mcstay but i still think Bentley and Artell are our best defensive partnership. My opinion.Great result today well done the shrimps.

could play all 3 of em JB HM DA and have Adams as a left-wing back, he seems to have lost a bit of weight and his gut don't stick out as much

Our long lost Mr consistent is on his way back.Mick Howard has been passed fit to resume training, and i for one think a left wingback role would be superb for him.Best wishes for a speedy return to the 1st team.

Not as consistent as you though Mick! ;)

I think anyone would have a hard time convincing Sammy or the majority of fans to change a winning defensive team. Its working at the moment and Danny Adams has been superb recently, even winning a well deserved MOTM award.

As you said, good luck to Michael, but I hope he doesnt get back into the first team this season as it would mean we have been on a losing streak.

....as long as he's here next season to push The Iron Man for the shirt, that'll do for me.

But...?????????

I wasnt saying instead of Danny Adams mark,at the moment we are playing 3 centre backs including Danny Adams who is playing really well in that new role. The way Mick Howard used to play pushing forward i think left wingback would suit him.Not instead of Danny Adams.
