Why would you make changes to a defence that has helped us to a 5 game unbeaten run.

Artell was excellent at Rochdale on Tuesday against a very good strike force.

Henry is nothing like as good in the air as Dave Artell and thats how most teams attack in this division.

I would much rather have Mcstay over Artell, but i agree no need to rush him back whilst Artell is performing somewhere near where he was early last seasson where he was immense.

How artell can be placed above Mcstay is above me, artell has no pace, no movement and whenever he has the ball i get scared. McStay is a class act and has been the man of the season IMO.

So did you go to Port Vale when Henry was involved in both their goals or at home to Accy when he sliced into his own goal ?

Henry is a good defender but the back-line we have at present is doing a good job and I am quite happy to leave selection to Sammy.

We arnt conceding many goals at the moment,i think the Bentley Artell Adams combination is doing ok,why change?Mcstay will have to fight for his place back and that is the way it should be.

I havn't been Artells biggest fan but you can't argue with the stats. If we were being cut apart by pace and through balls then throw McStay back in. But we aren't and the team is working very well.

Surely McStay's return could allow us to play the 3-5-2 formation that worked well earlier in the season.

Not that I've seen recently, although Adams has been getting forward a lot.

Yes, we haven't played anything other than that for ages, probably since Ryan McGivern was here.

I'm not exactly Arts biggest fan, due to his distribution, but I have to admit that since 'Our 'Enry' has been out injured, Arts has more than been just a replacement. It would be hard to replace him at the moment on current form and results. However, this can only be a good thing and he will know that there is competition for that position and that he has to perform to his maximum to retain his place.....and rightly so!

As it stands, despite him not being my favourite, and the fact that he's had periods when he's been pretty poor, Dave Artell is currently doing very well as part of the team. Whilst earlier in the season I would have Henry over Dave every time, I also believe what others have said i.e. if it aint broke, don't fix it.
