Do these figures include existing season ticket holders from 2019/20 ?

Do we know when they're going to be sent out? Purchased mine on first day of sale and all i've received is a ticket master link and receipt of purchase

IF the figures include all previous season ticket holders who have signed up again then the figures are disappointing. However if the sales exclude existing season ticket holders then it has been a success.

In order to increase the ticket sales why do the club not make use of the Arndale Centre and create a display and sell direct to the public for maybe a couple of weeks. Also why not try and sell direct to the public in Lancaster Shopping Centre.... :?: :?: :?:

Any initiative to increase sales has to be looked.

I am sure they include previous season ticket holders and life time ones.

We have pretty much doubled the amount of season ticket holders we have, I guess the 1500ish hardcore home fans we have all bought one to save money instead of paying on the gate.

Still interested to see if we will put match day prices up, maybe if they announce that a few more will get season tickets.

I think we've done pretty well to sell about 1300 tickets so far. I know some very occasional fans who have actually bought them for the first time. I also know someone else who bought four, just so he can bring friends and family along.

Not sure though what is being done to promote other than social media. It would be worth getting some temps in to sell in the community too. Sounds like it's just Graham and Martin doing what they can but we need to really speculate to accumulate.

The club has sold 1,418 season tickets as of yesterday, effectively doubling the number of season ticket holders we had previously... not too shabby, whatever way you look at it. These numbers consist of 815 standing and 603 seated..... so we are close to achieving the cheapest tier for adult terraced (£150) and the mid-tier for adult seated (£275).

So far we have been reliant on social media and word of mouth - so keep encouraging your friends and family (and even yourself if you are yet to buy) to get involved. I can think of few circumstances where having a season ticket is not going to be cost effective next season..... unless you go to less than 7 games a season (so you aren't really a regular match going fan anyway). If we can get 1,000 terraced season ticket holders it is going to be some atmosphere behind the goal..... I can't wait! If we didn't do this offer, we would have been outnumbered by away fans at a lot of home games.... but now I don't think this will be the case.

Hopefully the club can have a push with some targeted campaigning in the next couple of weeks - this should be on all the local radio stations, billboards, newspapers - its a fantastic initiative. Some things that might help with one final surge would be to announce the deadline for the offer (its currently open ended) and release match day prices ( I suspect that they will increase, adding more value to the season ticket offer).

Some strange/negative comments in this thread.

The Arndale in Morecambe are advertising asking for people to try "pop up" shops. I think if MFC had one in there for 2 or 3 weeks it would sell quite a lot of merchandise and some season tickets. Maybe try one in Lancaster centre too , lots of empty units there too.

Do we even know what system is being used. I heard a word it was going to be all electronic, showing a smartphone screen to the infrared. No good to me, I don't own a smartphone. Club had to send me an email with a print off bar code for the Tranmere semi.

Must admit I'd prefer a hard plastic copy in it's own small wallet as previous seasons. Just feels nice and something tangible that makes one proud to have.... :) :) :)

Do we know if local businesses have been approached for season tickets?

SEASON TICKET UPDATE: Standing tickets still flying off the shelves and we’re likely to break the 1,000 mark in the Bartercard Stand alone today, with more joining the Berlin Wall faithful too. It’s seated tickets we need a last minute run on to crack through the 750 mark. Anyone still ‘sitting on the fence ‘ should swap that seat for one in the Wright & Lord this afternoon! We’re also over 1,900 in total now, that’s a massive increase on the previous record! #BNBT

Some great stuff on social media promoting the deal. However it would have been useful to link to info regarding all costs rather than just the link to the ticket site. When a friend asked it took me ages to find the original info. Secondly more info on what ‘box office only’ means as the same person asked me and I wasn’t 100% sure.

JTW , is there any chance of one late night next week for season ticket pick up ? , myself and a number of others are unable to get to the shop during normal hours and I don’t fancy a bun fight on Saturday before the game !

Thank you :D

It says on the club website:

“Those who have already purchased a seated season ticket will be able to collect these from 10am on Monday 9 August onwards from the Club Shop.”

This seems to relate specifically to seated season tickets, or are the arrangements the same for standing tickets? Can anyone from the club clarify please?

Brand new bright tomorrow! Awesome effort and probably a few more to be shifted before the first home game.

Best value ever!
