Season Ticket sales queue

Season Ticket sales queue

Postby redrobo » Mon Jun 21, 2021 11:27 am

Just been down to the Stadium to renew my C Premier Seat and had to queue for about 15 minutes. There were 4 members of the clubs staff taking details and payment in a professional manner.

If you are able and are prepared to, pay using the web site or any other means it may save you queing as when I left the queue was growing.

Somebody pointed out that this was the first time that fans have had to queue for season tickets, probably due this time to the superb offers available.

:D :D :D

I suspect that with the numbers of fans buying their season ticket on line or in person the confirmation e mail will probably be carried out once their is a minor lull in the sales operation.....possibly later today or maybe later this week....

The more we sell the greater the number of emails that admin staff have to generate....

My neighbour purchased 1 adult £150 and one under 14 for £20 online ( first time ever , never even attended a game before ex Tottenham supporters) couldn’t believe how cheap they were, let’s hope many more take advantage of this fantastic offer
The down side is they were charged £28 vat, which is fine, but cannot see any ref in advertised prices that it was plus vat

The VAT is inclusive isn't it so they should have still only paid £170

Yes, that’s always been the case, it must be a blip with the online ordering system, I’m trying to contact the club

The web site quoted £420 for C Premier and that's what I was charged so suspect that it is a blip.... :)

The confirmation e mail
Shows the vat after the ticket amount as if it’s a plus, but it’s the inclusive amount, no further vat taken out (neighbour happy)

Went down for mine earlier. There was a queue. Had the receipt come through about half hour later. And then a separate email with a registration code for ticket master?. Does anyone know what this is? As the guy said we will be sent a link via email for us to download an app with the actual ST?

Been at work all day and couldn’t get to the shop. I am trying to renew my seats that I’ve had for a couple of years online but it says they’re available through box office only.
Am I correct in assuming that means I have to renew in person at the shop?

Those in the queue this morning were told that all those who had seats in previous seasons need not worry as their seats have been reserved and that they could confirm their intention to use again by using the on line facilities.

Hope this helps.

Maybe a phone call to confirm your requirements would help... :?: :?: :?:

Thanks redrobo, I hoped this may be the case as in previous years but it wasn’t made apparent in the article. I sent an email explaining the situation but I assume they’ve been very busy today as I haven’t had a reply

Yep I popped in this morning and was told the being a lifetime holder they would just renew my seat for the season, but looking on the sale site my seat is classed as “box office” I assume that means it’s reserved for me ?

Doesn't "box office" mean that's what we are in League One? :D

Thanks Mark, was this published somewhere and I’ve missed it or is it just assumed that fans know how the new system works?

Bloody glory hunters, coming out of the woodwork now that we're in League One! Where were you when we were in the Northern Premier League? Eh? EH???

;)

It will be good to see you back at games John, you've been away too long.

I'd hope no-one is dumb enough to take anything said on here, even if posted with passion, serious enough to fall out with people in the real world. :D

I resemble that remark!

Interesting to know how we're getting on with the season tickets, sounds as though it has been a busy couple of days for the club shop and ticket office. I know quite a few people who either have never held a season ticket before, not had one for years..... and even people who didn't really watch us regularly previously.... that have already purchased. Hopefully I'm not the only one who has noticed this - in which case we should hopefully have some positive news soon!

I wasn't previously aware, but sales targets to unlock cheaper pricing are category specific.... i.e. if we sold 1,500 season tickets (which would double previous numbers), which was 1,000 standing + 500 seating..... standing would get the lower price, and seating season ticket holders would pay a bit extra. I previously thought it was cumulative targets.... i.e. we'd have to sell 2k season tickets regardless of category for everybody to benefit. AKA make sure you buy those terrace season tickets ;)

I think we will do very well to sell 1500+ season tickets and even if they do it probably won't be an even split. Hopefully some regulars will buy two tickets instead of one and bring a friend along too. Maybe businesses could be targeted to buy some too and give to their staff as a reward or incentive

I think the aim to average 4000 is ambitious. Away numbers will increase but there's still lots of smaller clubs or ones down south that will bring 500 or less. If we could average 3000 home fans it would be brilliant.
