Longest time between games
Posted: Fri May 21, 2021 8:12 amJust worked out that come Saturday it will be 450 days since I last saw a live Morecambe game, having watched the Crewe game on the 29th Feb 2020.
My record though is 614 days between Stafford Rangers on 9th Dec 2006 and Nottingham Forest on 13th August 2008. I was living in Thailand as an impoverished English teacher, so couldn't even afford to fly back for Wembley. No doubt though some exiles can beat this!
Can't wait for Sunday. What an occasion to get fans finally back
