I'd like to see Cole & Carlos come off now and McAlinden & Price on. Some enthusiasm up front again.

err... Who predicted 4-4??? gulp

We stopped concentrating &/or attacking when they were under the cosh and now we're struggling to defend a one goal lead.

What a game, great result in the end, but they made us sweat a bit. Men of the match, the whole team.

Points the most important especially with Bolton getting beat

Onwards to another tough game on Tuesday at Grimsby

They have beaten Bolton and Cheltenham at home recently

Not the smoothest of ends to a game, but we got over the line. From open play we look fantastic, caused Scunthorpe and Oldham lots of problems in our last two games. If we can sort out how we defend set pieces we'll be good value for pushing for top 3.

I will be formally complaining to iFollow.

So much of that was a brilliant performance! They tried to play from the back, which is understandable given the players they have, but we were not giving them an inch and absolutely hammered down on to them. Some really lovely goals today!

Shame we blew things a bit with those corners at the end to take the gloss off the scoreline and give us all a healthy dose of heart palpitations. Nicky Adams strikes again!

But overall, that was really excellent and we did well to exploit their weaknesses, and defended very well against some really dangerous players in open play.

2 difficult/crucial games coming up now. Grimsby fighting for their lives and a 6 pointer against Bolton.
Can our hearts stand this?

Excellent result matched once again by our determination and a will to win.

MoM.....the entire squad...again :!: :!: :!:

Wonder what Jimbo thinks of it all as he's stuck in National League North for yet another season which is sad really as he deserves at least to manage in the National league.

Their first goal looked to be suspiciously a wee bit of hand ball in the way that he controlled the ball.

Luckiest touch you will see this season. I remember Suarez doing something like it for Liverpoo and it was mind blowing. The finish was top drawer though.

Normally his dislike of Jim Bentley is a little more subtle. This one was far too obviously fishing for a response.

Absolute bollocks.

As I posted Jim deserves far far better than managing at National League North but yet again your interpretation is so way off the mark....Nothing changes....

Hoisted by your own patard!

If you are going to drop dodgy comments about Jim in to threads where there is no reason or context, then you need to learn not to be the fish yourself!
