The clubs owners

It seems somewhat strange that the last we heard from our owners via this forum was before the appointment of DA. It's also strange that they have apparently made no comment about our current position especially as our club could be ( will be ) in the promotion business come the end of this season.

They say that Silence is Golden, but it does seem strange that they have made no comment about our rise from perpetual relegation fodder to our current (and deserved )potential promotion candidates.

Whilst I am not getting involved in your ramblings about the Owners, there is a thread on the peanut huggers forum regarding their finances and unpublished accounts. Lots of jargon and speculation but maybe somebody who understands it could simplify it for the rest of us.

I take that we haven't heard from them a sign that everything is going well and they are just leaving it to the board to get on with it.

I am curious to know how we are doing financially with such little income from both gait receipts and loss of revenue from hiring the Globe out. It seems to have gone very quiet is that a sign that we got enough from the rescue package and for the moment we are ok.

My main take from this is that Derek Adams reads Experimental 3-6-1, which is great!

I suspect that the incredible work done by our Sales and Marketing Manager in bringing in so much off the field sponsorship has helped the financial position, just a pity that the match day revenue has dried up but hopefully that will change sooner rather than later.

There was some extra finance from the EFL (was it £250,000 ?).

Last years accounts to 31 May 2020 should be filed at Companies House soon unless the year end has been amended which has happened regularly.

Not having to pay business rates on £42,500 will also help.
This finishes at the end of June and will also 'finish' some businesses off
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
